
Ingredients
| 1 can | Ocean's Sockeye Salmon (213 g), drained | 1 can |
| 60 ml | olive oil | 4 tbsp. |
| 250 ml | large onion, diced | 3/4 - 1 cup |
| 30 ml | fresh basil, chopped | 1/8 cup |
| Uncooked frozen pizza dough or 10" pre-cooked pizza crust | 1 | |
| 125 ml | Parmasan cheese, grated | 1/2 cup |
| 8 | fresh bocconcini cheese balls, sliced | 1 cup |
| 6 | cherry tomatoes, cut in half | 3/4 cup |
| 30 ml | capers | 2 tbsp. |
Directions
| 1 | On medium low heat, season the diced onion with salt and pepper and cook slowly in olive oil until caramelized to a golden brown, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in capers. |
| 2 | Roll out the pizza dough to the desired size, place on an oiled baking sheet. Spread the onion mixture over the dough. Top with the bocconcini cheese and half the parmesan cheese. |
| 3 | Place the chucks of sockeye salmon and cherry tomatoes over cheese and onion topping, then add with the remaining parmesan and basil. |
| 4 | Bake the pizza for 20- 30 minutes in a 375F (190C) pre-heated oven , until browned. |
