
Ingredients
| 80 ml | oil | 1/3 cup |
| 400 ml | diced onions | 1 1/3 cup |
| 60 ml | fresh herbs: basil, rosemary (minced) | 1⁄4 cup |
| 1 | 10 inch pizza crust | 1 |
| 125 ml | Parmesan cheese, grated | 1/2 cup |
| 500 g | mozzarella cheese | 1 lb |
| 1 can | Ocean's Sockeye Salmon (213 g), drained | 1 can |
Chef's Tips
These topping suggestions can combine with your family's favourite crust.
Tuna can replace salmon for a different twist to this exciting recipe.
Also great with other cheese combinations.
Directions
| 1 | Heat the oil in a skillet. Add the onions, salt and pepper and sauté until the onions are soft and golden, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 2/3 of the herbs. |
| 2 | Preheat the oven to 375F (190C). |
| 3 | Set the crust on a baking sheet. Spread the onion mixture over the dough. Scatter on the Parmesan cheese and 250 g (1/2 lb) of the mozzarella. |
| 4 | Bake the pizza for 15 minutes. Arrange the salmon on the pizza and top with remaining mozzarella. Bake 10 minutes more. |
| 5 | Dust with remaining herbs. Serve at once. |
